A barn, a bandsaw and a very old idea
Rustic Hearth began in 2001 with one reclaimed barn frame and a conviction that furniture should be repairable, not replaceable.
Today six makers work from a timber-framed shop outside Fayetteville. We still mill our own stock, still cut every joint by hand, and still sign the underside of every piece we send out. Nothing leaves the bench until it is something we would keep.
