Commissioning
How does a commission start?
Send us your measurements, a photograph of the room and a note about how you want to use the piece. We reply with a sketch, a timber recommendation and a fixed price within three working days. Nothing is charged until you approve the drawings.
How long does a piece take?
Four to six weeks for smaller pieces, six to eight weeks for dining tables, seating and storage, and ten to twelve weeks for large fitted work. You receive photographs of your piece on the bench each week.
Do you ask for a deposit?
Thirty percent reserves your slot on the bench. The balance is due on delivery, once you have seen the finished piece in your room.
Made to measure
Can I change the dimensions of a catalogue piece?
Almost always. Width, depth, height, timber and finish can all be adjusted, and made-to-measure work is priced individually — usually within fifteen percent of the catalogue price.
Do you copy existing designs?
We will take inspiration from a photograph, but we do not reproduce another maker’s design. What we build will be our own interpretation, made properly in solid timber.
Delivery and care
Where do you deliver?
Blanket-wrapped delivery and placement in the room of your choice is complimentary within 150 miles of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Nationwide we ship by specialist furniture carrier, quoted by crate size.
How do I look after solid wood?
Wipe with a damp cloth, keep the piece out of direct sun and away from radiators, and re-oil once a year with the kit supplied at delivery. A hairline gap in winter that closes by summer is normal in solid timber.
What if something goes wrong?
Every piece carries a lifetime structural guarantee. If a joint fails or a component breaks, we repair or replace it — and you pay only for return shipping, which we usually waive.

Do you work with interior designers and restaurants?
Regularly. Trade clients receive dedicated scheduling, project pricing and finish samples for client approval. Mention trade in your enquiry and we will send the price list.
